Please help me I was brain injuried when someone tried to kill me with a hammer. Last summer my mother had a stroke, leaving me to take care of all bills. She took out so many loans, I believe they are ripping her off because she is over 80's when she first got the mortgage it was only for 40,000.00 now it's over 122,000.00. They take out most the money from her soc. sec. and my disability check together making it very hard to pay other bills and living expenes. Please could you have it looked into, or pay it off? Thank you for your time.

Is it legal

 

 

 

            Is it legal for any Government branch, be it Federal, State or Local. To keep any body, citizen or not, from presenting legal evidence to a Judge. Evidence that has already been (wha-deered) checked out.

 

            As in big business (private sector) a lot of these companies know the longer they can drag out these cases against them, the better their chance of it going away. Cheaper lawyers fees than a settlement, some times a settlement is cheaper that a Judges Decision.

 

            Now for a Government branch to use an Insurance Co. in the private sector against a citizen of that Government branch, a property owner, a tax payer of that branch. Whose taxes help pay for that Insurance Co. To keep that citizen from presenting any of his evidence to a Judge. Primarily because every charge of action has been proven in his evidence’s wha-deering. Let me introduce you to a couple of legal terms “ Third party complaint” & “Litigation”

 

            These type of actions make it impossible for a poor person to get any kind of justice. And NO that CPL “As a Poor Person”  is meant only for those who are already in jail.  

 

            Perhaps you believe that I haven’t a clue of what I am talking about, just keep in mind though every City, Town or Village in this country has to have some kind of Insurance. How do you think they handle any or all of their complaints?

I want to ask all of you as you sit around your dinner table on the holidays with your family, what goes through your mind at the end of the day? I would like to tell you mine as I just sat here looking to see if there were programs to help me with my back rent and read how many people were also suffering and within each post my heart breaks more because there are people in this country, "our country" who have nothing and feel like they have failed though they have truly tried to make it. I am a 32 year old single mom of a smart and beautiful 8 year old who deserves the world and in order to give her what she needed I had to let her move in with her dad and his parents. You are probably sitting there thinking I didn't have to, well I will fill you in on the situation in my life a year ago. I was homeless sleeping in my car at whatever private area I could find praying that the police didn't pull over and tell me to leave. I scrounged whatever change I could find and the only meal I would eat is a .85 cent bag of popcorn. Eventually the "system" did help me and put me and my daughter up in a temporary homeless shelter that was 5 miles outside of my daughter's school district. The program offered to have a bus transport her to her initial school but that program never followed through and every night I had to watch my daughter leave with her father so she could attend school in the morning and every morning whether it was raining or not I rode my bike ten miles so I could say good morning, give her a kiss and tell her I love her. I rode my bike because I lost my car and the "system" wouldn't help me get it fixed but yet they helped those who did nothing to help themselves. Eventually this shelter found me a studio apartment to live in and the agreement was for 6 months they paid a part of the rent and then Social Services paid the remainder so I could have time to find employment again. I eventually did find employment by a boss who is only here on a green card and was paid nothing and received barely an income to support myself. So off my daughter went so she could have school clothes and food to eat that I couldn't offer her. The day she moved was the hardest day of my life, I felt like she was gone forever and the hole that was left is still there and I still can't support her. I eventually found another job but only making a dollar more an hour and now was just told last week that my position which is a civil position is a temporary on call which means I am hired for 6 months and then laid off for 3 months collecting the little amount of unemployment that people receive. I have been with this company for 3 months and I was just told that. Christmas is right around the corner and not only can't I buy presents for my daughter but I may be homeless again because I can't afford my rent, and oh yes I did go to Social Services and guess what I was told. They told me that I made "two dollars" too much and I didn't qualify for assitance on back rent. So with all of that said let me tell you about the person I am. I am a honest person, very intelligent but can't afford college so my potential to be something great is limited because I don't have the degree to back me up. I am a compassionate person and I give more than I could ever imagine receiving. I am not your typical person, I am not selfish, I don't believe in material things, all I ever want out of life is a just a chance to breathe. My childhood was stolen from me by my Uncle when he sexually abused me for three years and when I finally found the courage to speak I was told that the statue of limitation expired and I couldn't press charges. So the man that took my life away from me got away free. I spent my whole life blaming myself for what happened, my whole life with a mother who was never home because she was always working to support us, my whole life wishing my father was still alive but he was killed by a drunk driver, and my whole life wishing I had a different life. I became quiet and withdrawn holding in all of my anger because I had nobody to tell or help me through it. I starved myself because I wanted to disappear, I cut myself because I want to forget about everything that happened to me for two seconds even if it meant inflicting pain because that pain was better than what I was feeling on the inside. I spent my whole life thinking I didn't deserve anything good so I destroyed everything good. I have been in and out of hospitals trying to grasp what little faith I had. Through all of that I did survive but yet I am still fighting every day. So I ask you, what do you think about at the end of the day? Do you think about us, the people who make you, who represent this country more than you, the people who voted for you and supported you? You make cut backs in all the wrong spots, you spend money over seas when there are children here in "your country" that are starving to death. There are people everyday fighting to keep their homes, to keep food in their kids stomachs and you wonder why the suicide rate is so high. People just want a chance, it's not about greed, it's about pride and when that pride is stripped from you over and over you are whittled down to nothing. We aren't asking you to a million dollars, we are asking for you to just listen to what "we" need and though you say you are your actions don't portray. I would love to give my daughter the Christmas I dream of in my head, a tree and decorations, a table to sit around enjoying a meal, the chance to see her in the morning. I would love to feel free for a moment in my life, but instead I feel like I have these chains hanging off of me andI am only 32. You may be sitting here thinking I didn't try, but you are wrong, there are three sides to all stories, yours, mine and the truth. My life has been traumatic and I am still suffering while those who did wrong are living free, how sad has this country become.

Please help me save my home,

 

No I am not behind on my mortgage.

No I am not going to file for bankruptcy.

No I am not getting a divorce from my wife.

The fact is my own village is slowly destroying my home.

 

*Note; Apparently this is a common practice in all Governmental entities (Villages, Towns, or Cities) to use Insurance Co. in this manner.

 

            How is a disabled man suppose protect his property from "city hall" when city hall uses my own tax dollars to hide behind their Insurance Company? After attending every board meeting, pleading with each board member to see how the road work was destroying my foundation.

             All because the  X-mayor and I have had this feud for the past 45 years. All he had to do was say "that looks pre-existing." (Welcome to my Nightmare)

            Then to have all (board members, Assemblymen, Senators) tell me that I would have to get a lawyer to force the village to do the right thing.

            Since I am disabled, unable to work at my trade anymore I have sold 90% of my tools and truck to hire a lawyer, after which my village board turned this "situation" over to their Insurance Co. which is being paid for with my tax dollars!   ??????????? 

            To make things even worse all of those (board members, Assemblymen, Senators) who told me to get a lawyer are now telling me that they can't help me because I got the courts involved?

            In 2006 my village re-engineered the road in front of my house, new water, sewer, road drainage, sidewalk and blacktop. One of the main reasons for this was because the old sewer line was collecting too much ground water and over working our newly up-dated sewer treatment plant.

            Shortly after they had switched everyone over onto the new sewer line the capped both ends of the old line "ONLY" leaving the rest of the old line in ground, still collecting all that extra ground water but now it is bubbling up from under my foundation. This was pointed out to everyone before any brick, cement or blacktop was put down.

            There idea to fix this problem was to install a "french drain" in behind my house after it bubbled up from under the foundation and pipe it to the river. My lawyer said if I didn't allow them to do this then they could always claim that they tried to fix it and I would not let them. Even after I told him that this fix would only make things worse, that allowing the water to move faster from under my foundation would only cause faster erosion.

            3 1/2 years later Justice Muller (Essex County Supreme Court Justice)  in chambers told both my lawyer and the village Ins. Co. lawyers that this case had dragged on long enough. For both parties to get act together and give this man his day in court. It was at this time the village Ins. Co. filled a third party complaint against the construction co. that did the work. This side stepped the judges orders, brought in a second Ins. Co. and their lawyers which just flooded my lawyer into submission. He told me that this was just too much for one man  He told the judge that he and I where not getting along and asked to be released as attorney of record.

            Now every lawyer I contact want a huge upfront deposit ($5,-7,000.00) plus $180.per hr. A few of them told me that even then I would be throwing good money after bad, that there was no way either one of these Ins. Co. would ever allow this case to get in front of a judge. This is how they win cases that have all of the evidences against them.                                                                           "To Litigate them"

 

            Perhaps after my home falls in, catches fire or worse, kills someone may be then the powers to be and media will see the injustice that is being done here, all because of one person.

            After all of this I have come to realize that the only way to get this Village to do the right thing is to shame them into it.

            In doing this I plan to hang my American Flag, union down as is permitted  by the United States Code; Title 4, Chapter 1, § 8 - Respect for Flag. And on both sides signs stating those involved with the project responsible for the damages to my home.

I got on social security for depression ...and since i been on it i am more depressed and have gotten so sick i know have cronic pain and fybermerlgia and smoke so much have copd now from the finicail stress on me......940 a month to live on in this world doesnt make it for me I am getting sicker and sicker... in this life style.... I so need transportation to get around for doctors ect... have no car now to get around anymore I cant afford one !!!!! is there any hope for me to get a car?at all? PLus these others things below if you have any information to help me please let me know... my mouth needs a tooth pulled cavity fix and I need particals no dental no money...so my teeth rot and i got without particals to eat... my eyes are blurry need glasses no money.... the doctors I see all want co payments no money cant pay it.... the quality of my life as gone down the crapper ... This as ruined my pride and self esteem and confidence and as paralized me ....with pain and suffering..... I am seeing a therapist and doctor ...for mental health but this isnt even helping the fact im so friggen poor... I cant take it...and now my person is so sick ...I feel life death is warming over me..... my life as become a pure nightmare.... I work@ companies bulding defense for over 24 years my daughter jion the national guard my son jion the air force my dad fought in the korea only to come home to be killed at work hose wasnt what it was today my grandfather fought in world war II my brother served in the navy my cousin in the air force and so on.. my whole family of men..and me being there daughter sister mother niece granddaughter I am left to live this way I cant have anyone live with cause of section 8 i was told i cant move into a bigger a place with my daughter and son in law or i will loss my voucher..I wanted them to help me in all ways..instead the goverment as made it for me to suffer and to become more sick and hopless that my situation will ever get better live under poverty being with cronic pain living with drama and copd knowing I have no way out I smoke more and more from being stressed out killing myself..so instead of giving me money to live a beter life ,every month thinking its not pratical to give me this money to have a car and dental and vision and good food and co payments paid off.. to give me pride and my self esteem back and mostly my indepentence back and not rely on others for what soicial security lacks what they really should be doing... you took away my spirit and love for life...and now even my death ..I see no joy at all living this way no happeness and no peace and security and no self but get this in the end when self destruct you will pay millions to keep me a live when you should of took this money and gave it to me to live and instead of making me live this way to die then give the money to save me from what could of been prevented...I feel bad for my kids cause I cant not be there for them emtionallly fincially and they look at me like this is going to be thier life the way I have to live with mine...I have no hope for things to get better I have to self worth cause living under the poverty level I am very frustrated cause deep down you dont care about me ...as Sheryl Faro a single woman who worked and her family sacraficed thier live for this country really i have to say you dont really i think under stand what we suffer and how we live makes us sicker and more depressed I have no hope to better off my fincial status to get a car to get partical to eat with or to get vision to see right.. or get money to buy clothes I need or to even try and take care of myself all by myself....I never had cronic pain in my life I never hardley smoked at all but now KNOWING VERY WELL! Back in 1991 Someone tried to kill me with a hammer, I was advised by my lawyer to drop the charges, then crime victim board will pay anything that my insurance will not pay, that has to do with my attack. They turned me down for getting treatment and also making my kitchen handicaped eccessable.

Dear Government official,

I know that you are busy trying to prevent a government shut down but at this point I needed to state how I feel. I am the mother of three employed as a Case worker in Foster Care. My job is to assist families in being reunited with their children or help locate adoptive parents. I love my job dearly and believe that I'm an excellent caseworker but due to the low pay rate, I'm currently in school purusing my Nursing Degree. It is funny that I live my life helping others and referring families for services and when I need help there is no one to turn to. I make 43, 000 a year but for any assitance in Medicaid or Food Stamps, I do not quailify. I struggle to pay my rent $1500 with no assitance. My fiancee lost his job and exhausted his unemployment benefits, so now he is a stay at home dad with our 8 month old daughter. You see when I was out on disability in August 2010, after I utilize my sick days, I only received $170 a week for 8 weeks. This caused me to fall behind in my rent for three months. When I returned to work, I started to pay the current rent. At this point, though I continue to pay the current rent my landord is threatening to seek eviction for the back rent. At this point the shelters are over crowded and there is no government programs to help you seek an apartment. If my family is evicted there is no where for us to go. I have tried to go to Public Assistance and they stated I do not qualify because their is no eviction proceedings. I don't want to wait until I'm evicted to get help. I tried to pay some money with my Income Tax but also dealing with a car that does not run well.  I tried to get a loan from the credit union but now the banks are strict with any loans and I was turned down. I'm riding in a small car on it's last leg with two car seats, which prevents my oldest child from riding as a family.

I pay taxes just like any other person in the United States. I am the working class that helps the City go around. Why can't I get assistance when I need it. Can you please tell me about any governmental assistance programs that can assist my family. I need $5000 and I don't know where to go.

 I was told by my lawyer that Crime Victims Board would pay anything that had to do with my attack, and my insurance will not pay. The kid that tried to kill me with a hammer for being gay was only 15 years old, so I accept, but they refused to make my house wheelchair accessable, also for a transplant because it was not FDA approved. I was never told it had to be. also to get exercise and to take an online class. If I knew they would not help me unless they felt like it, I would have taken the kid to court, because he made my life hell, not worth living.

 I was told by my lawyer that if I did not press charges to the kid that tried to kill me with a hammer for being gay that I could get help from Crime Victims Board. They would pay everything that insurance would not pay. They would not help me make my kitchen wheelchair accessable, or for me to get the treatment I want because its not FDA approved. I even asked for exercise classes, and to take online classes. If I knew they only help when they feel like it I would have taken the chance and took him to court. I just want the chance to live my life before I get too old to care. Is their any hope of having a future.

I had my own business and because of this financial siguation that we all seem to be in, I have lost it all. Like most people today I am at my witts end trying to keep my head above water. I am fighting hard to keep my sanity. I am writing on behalf of myself and the people of AIDPAGE. While we may seem to be a small percentage of the population, we represent the majority of the people who pay your salary. We are the people who were promised the American Dream: a warm place to call home, food on our tables, earning a living wage, access to health care, celebrating the holidays with friends and family. Instead, we were given the American Nightmare: foreclosed homes, utility shut-offs, social services denials, wages that cannot begin to pay our bills, vehicles repossessed, no healthcare, and no holidays.

Organizations that promised to assist us in our time of need, are turning us away due to lack of funds, but their CEOs are earning six figures. Social services which were put in place to prevent these catastrophes deny applicants for being $2 over the income guidelines. Subsidized housing is packed to capacity with criminals living among impoverished families and seniors living in substandard conditions. Rental assistance is non-existent.

Unemployment is at an all time high. While statistics show it has decreased over the past year, it does not take into account the number of people that are under-employed or have completely fallen off the radar due to a lack of benefits.

The people of this country are angry at big government for taking so much and giving so little in return. We have sacrificed our children for your war. We have sacrificed our privacy for your fear. We have sacrificed our livelihood for the sake of what used to be our country. What have we received in return- A mediocre health care plan that will take a decade or more to fully implement?

Our children have become products of their polluted environment. Parents who are forced to work, sometimes 2 jobs, to earn a livable wage have no alternative but to leave their children in state funded and resourced day care; watched over by minimally paid and unsupervised workers. Now that the funding has dried up, where will they go?

Our elderly are no better off. They are drugged and warehoused are “cared” for by unsupervised and unskilled workers as well. Some with criminal backgrounds who abuse and violate the very people they are paid to care for.

We, the American public know the longer the situation continues, the more precarious our lives become.

This country was founded on the principle people are entitled to basic human rights. Our forefathers came here to be freed from persecution, to ensure everyone was entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our government was to be ruled by the people, not for the people to be ruled by their government. When forced to live by another’s rules, our country revolted and formed their own Declaration. If you recall, it states:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

While this document, entrenched in history, may not be fully applicable today, it holds the basic tenets of our country to be true. We are the people whom that document protects and provides for. Our government has denied the majority of our people their basic human rights as set by our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and Constitution.

I would also like to point out Section 15 of the Bill of Rights

That no free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.

I need to know, which signifies moderation and frugality?

·          Senators pay at $190,000+

Research shows there are 261 members of Congress whom are millionaires. How many do you think could live on only Social Security and Medicare? (approximately $1,609.00 gross per month) or minimum wage (approximately $1,160.00 gross per month) with no health care. There are many who live well below that income level.

Each day, these brave souls face the world praying for a sliver of hope, that one day soon, their situation will improve. The single parents pray their children will get an education and achieve more than they have. The elderly pray they will not freeze another night, or have enough money to pay for their medication and food. Parents pray their children will come home from a war, intact. Children pray their mom and dad will stop crying and worrying about how to take care of them.

I only ask one thing of each of you – answer their prayers.
